This page explains what personal data YieLab collects when you reach out through this site's contact form or chat widget, why we collect it, and how to ask us to correct or delete it.
Who is responsible for this data
The data controller is Santiago Yie, operating as YieLab (yielab.com), based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. For any question about this policy or your data, contact info@yielab.com.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form, or the chat widget's lead form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company name, if you provide one
- The message you write — or, if you use the chat widget, the chat transcript you choose to send when you submit the lead form
Your IP address is processed transiently by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, to rate-limit submissions and block abuse. We do not store it ourselves.
How the chat widget handles your data
The conversation itself lives in your browser, not on our servers, and is sent one turn at a time to our AI provider (Anthropic, accessed via Vercel's AI Gateway) so it can generate a reply. Nothing is written to a database. We only receive your conversation if you explicitly submit the lead form at the end of it — at that point it reaches us by email, the same way a contact-form message does.
Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your enquiry about our services: to read your message and reply by email about the engagement you asked about. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond that.
How long we keep it
Submissions arrive in a single email inbox; they are not copied into a CRM or database. We keep them for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any engagement that follows, and delete them no later than 24 months after our last contact with you.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the infrastructure providers needed to run this site and deliver your message: Cloudflare (hosting and email delivery) and, for the chat widget, our AI provider (Anthropic, via Vercel's AI Gateway) — solely to generate a reply in real time.
Your rights
Under Argentina's Ley 25.326 and, where applicable, the EU GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to be contacted. Send these requests to info@yielab.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in Argentina, the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP).
